Liability Insurance

Any group not a member of the Florida United Methodist Conference is required to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance complete with the following information.

  • Must insure against harm occurring during the event or retreat for no less than $1,000,000.00 per individual incident.
  • Must list the dates of the event/retreat
  • Must name the camp as additional insured along with the address as shown below.

It is the responsibility of the group to contact their liability insurance agent to have a copy of their insurance certificate mailed or faxed to the office at the Warren Willis Camp.  Our fax number is: 352 787-8650.  The Certificate needs to be received in our office no later than two weeks before the scheduled event or retreat.

If a group is going to hold several events or retreats in a year, it is possible to request a Certificate of Liability Insurance covering all the events or retreats if all the dates are listed on the Certificate.
