Crosstrainers is our classic fall retreat.  This retreat is full of worship, games, activities, and time to hang out with friends from around
the state of Florida.  Crosstrainers is an amazing getaway for your youth group.  An energy packed weekend that is designed to encourage their walk with Christ and become energized about living their faith everyday, not just on Sunday's.  Bring your youth group and compete in the Crosstrainer games, share stories, and retreat from the busy fall semester of school, football, and day to day life.

Crosstrainers Worship Leader
Rev. Wes Olds

Pastor, Grace Church Cape Coral and North Fort Myers Campuses

Wes is an Ordained Elder in the Florida Conference of United Methodist Church. He received his BA from the University of Kentucky in English Education and went on to receive his Masters Degree in Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary. Wes served as the youth minister at Christ Church in Fort Lauderdale and as a Pastor with Youth and Evangelism at Centenary UMC in Lexington. At the same time, he also served on the adjunct faculty at Asbury College as an instructor in youth ministry and congregational leadership and Asbury Seminary as an adjunct faculty for mentored ministry. Eventually, God prepared a way for Wes to start a multi-cultural, urban church called The Rock-La Roca UMC in Lexington, KY. While there, Wes co-founded Lexington’s “Room in the Inn,” a ministry of hospitality and shelter to homeless men. In addition to his ministry with Grace, Wes serves as a leadership coach for Spiritual Leadership, Inc.  Wes is married to Becky and they have one awesome son named Caleb. Wes loves music and plays guitar, enjoys fishing, sports, and hanging out with his friends and family.

Crosstrainer's Worship Band:  Leading Worship for Crosstrainers this year will be a Warren Willis Camp Band made up of members of current and former summer staff.  They will lead our praise and worship time playing some of your favorite songs learned while at camp.

Featuring a Concert by Lost and Found:
LOST AND FOUND is Michael Bridges and George Baum.
George plays piano, and Michael plays guitar. Stylistically, the music of LOST AND FOUND is not easy to de
scribe. Some have simply labeled it "speedwood" or "acoustic thrash." Others, upon hearing the unique blend of folk and screaming, played without drums or stacks of keyboards, and including the occasional ballad, have just said, "I've never heard anything like that before." One person said the music is, "the intersection of the Ramones and John Denver." This is, as you might imagine, a relatively deserted intersection.  For more information check them out at www.speedwood.com.
